The MIND Lab conducts research focused on understanding the movement mechanisms that underlie neurodevelopmental disorders. We use multiple research approaches to examine motor heterogeneity and behavioral development in individuals with typical and atypical trajectories, including autism and developmental coordination disorder.
Our team partners closely with families and communities across the United States and around the world, reflecting our commitment to culturally informed and inclusive science. By advancing knowledge of motor and behavioral differences, we aim to ensure that children with neurodevelopmental disabilities access timely assessments and the interventions they need to thrive.
The MIND Lab is directed by Emmanuel Bonney, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology.
